Purpose
Identification and enumeration of fluke eggs in faeces.

Fluke egg - by sedimentation and flotation methods. 40 grams of material per sample is supplied. Participants should use the quantity as specified in their testing protocol.
Reporting format

Fluke egg – Positive, Negative and count.

Authorised final reports are published electronically. Each report includes a collation of participants’ results.

Subcontracting
Various aspects of the Proficiency testing schemes may at times be subcontracted. When this occurs it is placed with a competent subcontractor and the Quality Assurance Unit is responsible to the scheme participants for the subcontractors work.
