APHA Vet Gateway

The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) Vet Gateway provides a portal through which private vets can gain access to APHA's services, systems, operating instructions, guidance, news and intelligence on new and re-emerging animal health threats. It supports private practice veterinary surgeons:

  1. Working as Official Veterinarians
  2. Accessing APHA's veterinary scanning surveillance and diagnostic support network.

General Election June 2017

In the coming weeks, there will be limited updates and changes to this website. That is because between midnight on Friday 21 April and the general election on Thursday 8 June is the pre-election period.

This means that we will only be communicating essential information, in line with the general election guidance for civil servants. This applies to APHA content on GOV.UK, @aphagovuk on Twitter, the APHA Vet Gateway, and our science and veterinary blogs and social media channels.
